Post doctorate research award by UGC in 2002. Under this award research activities were done without teaching responsibilities for three years. Salary and other benifits are provided from UGC. A contingency amount of Rs. 3 lakhs were given.

Worked as Post Doctorate Fellow (PDF) in National Taiwan University for six months (restricted in the award guideline) during the period of award.
