Developing theoretical formalism to understand the transport, optical and spectroscopic properties of open quantum systems using many body quantum theory and statistical principles with an analytical as well as numerical point of view. Exploring and understanding nonequilibrium thermodynamics at the quantum level for atomic and molecular systems. Use of artificial intelligence/machine learning algorithms in quantronics, spectroscopy and experimental data. The following are the current systems of interests:
