Laboratory facilities

The Department is having six laboratories viz.

• Cell & Molecular biology laboratory
• Animal Ecology & Wildlife Biology laboratory
• Entomology laboratory
• Fish Biology & Fishery Science laboratory
• Physiology & Biochemistry laboratory
• One general laboratory for the other semesters

Other than the said laboratories the department is having one Computer Lab, one cell culture lab and one Central Instrumentation Center.

DEPARTMENTAL LIBRARY

The department has a seminar library with a good number of books around 788 nos. of books for providing students, research scholars & teachers with important information.

Journals

The department is publishing a Journal “Tropical Zoology” annually.
