Duration: 2 Years :: 4 Semesters

The total intake capacity of students in M.Sc every year is 35 (Thirty-five). 20 percent of the total seats are for the other Universities. Students from other Universities will have to appear for selection test.

The students are provided hands on, in live data analysis during the projects they submit for fulfillment of their master's degree. Special training is provided to the students on developing questionnaire for collection of data, on analysis of self collected data using statistical software as well as through programming using high level language.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) Programme (3 to 5 Years)

Several students enroll to our Ph. D programme every year, which can be in any of the specialised subjects or other major areas. The minimum time for a PhD degree is three years. Within the initial two years of admission to a Ph. D programme, the prospective Ph. D student has to deliver a Final Registration Seminar, where the student presents his work before a panel of expert members. The final degree is awarded after successful completion of the PhD thesis and an oral (the VivaVoce) examination in presence of an external expert. Both the registration seminar and oral examination are open and in general attended by other research scholars, postgraduate students, faculty members and any other interested persons.

Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Programme (1 Year):

The course contents include a dissertation covering some of the major works of the prospective students besides some mandatory written examinations. The course is aimed at people, willing to enhance their postgraduate experience and pursue a career in research in the subject.
