  • Born in Guwahati, Assam. He completed his B. Sc. from B. Borooah College and M. Sc. from Gauhati University in Chemistry. After completion of his masters, he joined School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad as a JRF fellow. In 2011, he completed his Ph. D. in Crystal Engineering, after which he carried out two post-doctoral in University of Cambridge, UK (2011-2012) and Tel-Aviv University, Israel (2013-14) respectively.
  • Joined Gauhati University as an Assistant Professor in June 2014.
  • Recipient of DST Fast Track Research Scheme (2014-2017) under Department of Science and Technology, India.
