M. A. Programme (2 Years)

Eligibility

Students having major in Political Science with minimum 40 percent marks are eligible to apply for admission in M.A. course. Students from universities other than Gauhati University are required to appear in a written admission test conducted by the department comprising one paper of 100 marks (2 hours duration). The test includes general knowledge on contemporary issues and basic knowledge in Political Science.

Total Marks: 1600 (1st semester: 400, 2nd semester: 400, 3rd semester: 400, 4th semester: 400)

P.G. Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies under U.G.C's Innovative Scheme (2 Yrs)

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) Programme (3 to 5 Years)

M. Phil Programme (1 Year)
