Philosophy

About

The Department of Philosophy was established in the year 1948 under the headship of Dr. Rakesh Ranjan Sharma. The department has reached its present state with the invaluable academic contributions from eminent scholars like Dr. Rakesh Ranjan Sharma, Sri. Bhabananda Dutta, Smti. Nilima Dutta, Professor B. Pahi, Professor K. Saratchandran, Professor K. K. Bagchi, Dr. A. P. Rao, Dr. K. R. Patnaik, Professor G. C. Khan, Professor K.C. Das, Professor M. K. Kutty, Professor D. K. Chakravarty, Professor Nilima Sharma and Professor S. S. K. Singh during its formative years.
