Placement profile

Though the department does not have a formal system of placement for the students, most of the students who have completed the M.A. (EL & ELT) course have already secured jobs in both the private and public sectors, reaffirming the departmental objective of projecting ELT as a service discipline that caters to diverse fields of employment.

A majority of the alumni has secured teaching assignments with most of the prestigious private schools of the state. Several have also been inducted into the faculty of central and state government schools and junior colleges. These students have all confirmed to being selected through practical demonstration of their experience with teaching methodology. This reflects an increasing awareness of the value of training methodology imparted by the department.
