Collaboration
- The department has received financial assistance under FIST programme of the Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India in 2001 and has been benefited considerably while setting up of an Advanced Computational lab and partial modernization of its existing infrastructure.
- The department has also been selected to house the facilities under Project Garuda of CDAC under which the university will be connected to leading R&D and academic institutions of the country through a high bandwidth network.
- The department has setup a placement cell to search employment avenues for its students.
The department has also published a brochure named "Tech Talk 2005-06" highlighting its activities primarily with the aim to search employment avenues for its students.
