  • Vegetation dynamics and periodic migration of Animal Populations in Kaziranga national Park in relation to flood and fire - sponsored by UGC (1997-1999)- as PI
  • The future scenario of animal wildlife and its habitat in Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam - sponsored by UGC (2000-2002)- as PI
  • Morikolong as potential wetland based industry - sponsored by Kollong Kapili Bahumukhi Pam and partly in house (1998-2006)- as PI
  • Phytoremediation of oil and heavy metal polluted soil and water in and around oil fields of Upper Assam. - Sponsored by Oil India Ltd. Duliajan (2002-2005) as Co-PI in collaboration with Institute of Advanced Studies for Science &Technology, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 (Assam).

Seminar/Summer School/Refresher Course held during the year 2007-08

  • Training course in Geographical Information System (GIS) from 1-30 Nov 2007 at Dept. of Geography, Indo-Australian workshop on “Development and optimization of combined plant/microbe technologies or bioremediation of soil contaminated with hydrocarbon and heavy metals” 29 Sep to 1 Oct 2008 at IASST, Guwahati.
  • Presented an oral paper at the International Conference on ‘Biodiversity issue & Concerned’ 21-23 Nov 2007 at ISI, Kolkata.
  • Participated the National Seminar on “Biodiversity-exploration, conservation and utilization of plant resources with reference to N.E. India. 18-19 Dec 2007.”
