Objectives

The main objective of the Department is teaching and learning of both classical and modern Arabic at the Post-Graduate level.
The mission of the Arabic Department is to motivate the learners in their respective field of activities for expansion of learning and research to acquire proficiency and skill for their better placement, within the country and abroad.

The department of Arabic was incepted in September 1969. With the introduction of Semester courses in the PG level, the department has given much emphasis on the functional Arabic so as to motivate the learners to acquire proficiency and skill for their better placement within the country and abroad.
